Beginners & Heritage Learners Welcome

Kalima welcomes students starting with their very first Arabic letter as well as heritage learners who grew up hearing or speaking Arabic and want to strengthen their skills. Instruction can build from each learner's existing knowledge while developing greater confidence in conversation, reading, writing, and cultural understanding.

Our Approach

Language Lives Inside Culture

At Kalima, language and culture are inseparable. Every lesson weaves Arabic traditions, stories, and customs into the curriculum — so students don't just learn to speak Arabic, they come to understand it. Small class sizes ensure every student receives individual attention, and Violette's warm, encouraging teaching style makes every learner feel at home from the very first day.

Small Classes

Intentionally small groups so every student receives individual attention and genuine support.

Cultural Depth

Arabic traditions, stories, and customs woven into every lesson — language as a living, breathing thing.

All Levels Welcome

From the very first letter to more advanced study — no prior knowledge required, only curiosity.
